Tagging customer keys correctly helps us keep them safe and ensures our records are accurate. This protects both customers’ security and your peace of mind when holding spare keys.
All spare keys you hold should
- Be tagged with a unique code provided by Housekeep
- Not contain any personal information (such as the customer’s name or address)
- Be listed on the Customers & keys page of your app
- Be tagged with a unique code provided by Housekeep
How to tag keys
- After receiving a set of keys, you’ll get an email from Housekeep with your key tag number
- Tag the keys with this number using a Housekeep key tag
- If you run out of tags, you can collect more from the office
- Send a photo of the tagged keys to Housekeep so we can update our records
