Use your time like a pro

Using your time like a pro will help you to clean efficiently and deliver that Housekeep feeling for your customers.

Follow these top tips to guarantee more 5* ratings.

1. Plan your clean

Before starting, check your app to see which tasks your customer has booked and whether they've left instructions.

You may want to take a quick look around to see which rooms will need the most time.

It's usually best to clean the kitchen first, then the bathrooms, the living room and finishing with the bedrooms.

2. Press start & use your timer

As soon as you start cleaning, press "Start job" in your app.

This will begin your timer. You can use this to keep track of how long you've been cleaning for. 

We usually recommend around 30 minutes per room - but you may need to adjust this slightly depending on which rooms need more work.

3. Extra time at the end? 

It's best to use all of the time your customer has booked, rather than finishing cleans early. 

If you have extra time, double-check the details. Make sure you've dusted door handles, wiped skirting boards and cleaned the outside of kitchen cabinets.

Still got time? Ask your customer if they'd like you to clean inside windows, or inside the fridge.
