Chat like a pro

Communication is key to a great clean.

You can chat to your regular customers any time through your Housekeep app. 

If you’ve got a new customer, you can chat with them from the day before the clean.

Here are our top tips for chatting like a pro.

Check your chats

Check your chats before each clean, in case your customer has sent any cleaning instructions or other information.

Make sure you're getting notified

Enable push notifications from the Housekeep app in your phone settings. We'll let you know whenever you have new chats.

 

 

Don't forget to reply

 

Customers love it when their Housekeepers reply to them.

We've added some quick replies to your app - so you can respond with the tap of a finger.

A few ways to use live chat

You can use live chat to discuss anything urgent with your customers - like if you're running late, or if you arrive for their clean but can't get inside.

Here are a few of our other favourites...

 Introducing yourself & providing an arrival time 

"Hi, I'm your Housekeeper, Maria. I'll be arriving for your clean at 09:30. See you soon!"

 Letting customers know when they're low on products 

"Hi, it's your Housekeeper Georgina. Please could you get some more Viakal & cleaning cloths for your next clean."

 

Asking for extra time

"Hi, it's Maria here. I think I'll need another 30 minutes to finish everything. Would you like to add extra time?"

Finding out how to use any leftover time

"Hi, it's Emily. I've finished your clean 30 mins early. Would you like me to clean inside the fridge?"
