In the event that you cause accidental damage to any of your customers' property, it is essential that this is reported to Housekeep as soon as possible.
Reporting damage to Housekeep
You can report a damage by going to the job on your schedule, and then pressing Help -> Contact Housekeep -> Report damage. You should also contact your customer too via call or chat to let them know about the damage.
When customers report damage to Housekeep
If a damage is reported to Housekeep by a customer, rather than yourself, we will immediately contact you for some information.
You will then have 48 hours to respond with further information. If we don't receive a response within this time then we will sadly assume fault, and you will be liable for the full cost of repair and replacement.
Covering the cost of damage
We'll cover the cost of any damages up-to £30, as this is covered by your administration fees.
If the cost of repairing or replacing a damaged item is greater than £30, we'll cover the first £30 plus 50% of the remaining sum. The other 50% will be deducted from your payments.
