If you ever need more time at a job you need to ask your customer if they are happy to pay for that time first. Ask them, or call or chat them via your App if they are not at home.
If your customer agrees to pay for extra time then let Housekeep know via your App (Go to the job on your app, select Help, then Contact Housekeep, then I need more or less time) how much they agreed to so it can be added. Make sure you let us know well before the end of the job so that we have time to adjust the billing before the end of the day.
If they say no to extra time, or if you can't contact your customer at all, then just work for the hours that they have booked and contact Housekeep about what you could not finish in the time booked. We will then email your customer and tell them that they need to book more time in future or write some instructions on their account so you know what to focus on.
We can't charge the customer for extra time unless they agree to it.
Remember - do not work extra time for a customer if it will make you late for another job.
